A new contest is born! Campaign launches one week from tomorrow!
Greetings ye faithful,
We’re a little over a week until the Ides of March, and we’re battening down the hatches for the big campaign, so stay tuned.
I’ve been doing script tweaks and going over it with our editor extraordinaire Matt Murray, and we think you’re really going to like it. It’s really become a lot more than the original Batman parody would have it suggest. I’ve been putting together our video with After Effects wizard, my occasional writing partner and Dragon Ball Fighterz rival, Juan Bayardo too. It’s super slick and professional. I’ve also updated the No Holds Bard website, so it looks good and is SEO’d and everything, so share that around if you can.
If you have a podcast, run a comics or Shakespeare website, or like to stand on the corner yelling out of a bullhorn, Logan and I want to talk to you about the project, life, anything really. We’re good guests with lots of interesting stories and opinions and stuff, and we want to hock this book as hard and as far as possible.
Since the response to the mailing list has been so positive, I moved the T-shirt contest up to this morning, so check your email to see if you’ve won and get back to me so I can send you your prize. If you haven’t signed up yet, not to worry, join today to be entered into our next contest for FOUR (count ‘em, FOUR) lithographs from our first campaign. We have a couple of these, so I’ll say there’ll be 3 winners this time! Same time next week? Ok. Good. And tell your friends to join too (or I guess, logically, don’t, if you want to maximize your chances of winning, but it would still be cool if you did)!

Beautiful, right? These are from Dave Kloc (Designer of The Meltdown with Jonah and Kumail and Foo Fighters posters), Sina Grace (Self-Obsessed and writer of Marvel’s Iceman), Bobby Rubio (Avatar: The Last Airbender and Pixar story artist), and Ashlyn Anstee (Children’s book illustrator and storyboard artist extraordinaire)! These lithos measure 11"x17" and would look great on any wall that would have them. Oh yeah, that reminds me. These four pin-ups will make up our first STRETCH GOAL, to be put with the variants in the back of the book. So that’s pretty cool.
Ok, that’s it for now. Expect to hear something else from me soon.
Love ya,
Eric
